November 23, 2007 – Day after Thanksgiving Annual Clam Chowder Feast, Movie & Game Night @ Frank & Mary's House! Bring your friends! R.S.V.P. by Sunday, November 18, 2007 to Mary. Time: 6:00 p.m. to mid-night. Cost: FREE!

November 28, 2007 – MANDATORY R.S.V.P. for Christmas Party on December 22, 2007. Cost for you and a guest (eligible for Youth Group attendance) - $30.00 per person.

November 30, 2007 – Craft Night at CHOC! For those of you needing Community Service Hours, this would be a GREAT opportunity to come have some fun, maybe win some prizes & help assemble crafts for children in the hospital. Meet at the church at 5:15 p.m. to depart by 5:30 p.m. for CHOC. You will be back at the church by 11:00 p.m. Cost: FREE!

December 5, 2007 – Youth Group/Parent Vote for Summer Camp – Will it be Pismo, Ponderosa Pines or Hume Lake this year? All students and parents are encouraged to attend this 15 minute vote at 7:00 p.m. Votes by proxy (email or mail) will be added to the tallies on December 5, 2007. See flyer for details.

December 7, 2007 – Operation Christmas Child - Meet at church at 5:30 p.m. Eat dinner before you arrive! Bring several $1 bills for purchasing drinks from the soda/water machines. Will be back at the church by 11:30 p.m. MANDATORY Sign up with Frank (less than 7 spaces left). Cost: FREE

December 19, 2007 – Purchase ticket for “Praise 2008” at Knott’s Berry Farm! Cost: $45/person (doesn’t include food, snacks or souvenirs). Also, let’s make a banner tonight to welcome Jenna home!

December 21, 2007 – The Traveling Jenna returns! Time to be announced – but let’s all go welcome Jenna home from her trip to Australia! Let’s make a banner on December 19th!

December 22, 2007 - Youth Group Christmas Party – 8 a.m. to Midnight. Come to church & bring a change of clothes suitable for hiking, colder weather (i.e., jackets, scarves, ear mufflers???, long pants…no dresses, skirts or shorts please). Bring a wrapped gift for a gift exchange suitable for guy or gal valued $10-$15. Cost: $30.00/person. You MUST RSVP for this event. We need an exact count for planning purposes. Please ask your parents to see either Frank or Mary if they have any questions. See flyer for details.

December 26, 2007 - No Youth Group Meeting (Happy Christmas)

December 31, 2007 - “Praise 2008” New Year’s Eve Celebration. Guests include Hawk Nelson, Aaron Shust, Leeland, and Bob Smiley (among others). Fireworks at midnight. 7pm-1am, Knott’s Berry Farm. Presented in association with Celebration Concerts. Yes! Something Different! Cost: $45/person. Meet at the church at 4:30 p.m. and plan to end at 2:00 a.m. Must purchase spot by Wednesday, December 19, 2007. (This event takes the place of the all-nighter and Magic Mountain Trip, planned previous years.)

January/February – Winter Camp January 11-13 (Cost: $145.00 per/person)

Oh yeah, Frank’s Birthday is January 27th!

February 29-March 2 – Run to the Hills Retreat (rescheduled due to the fires!). Those who signed up the first time, still have a spot reserved for them. You must RSVP by February 6, 2008 if you still want to go. Others who were not be able to attend before, but would like to now, must pay a $50 retreat fee due by February 6, 2008. You will need to take Friday, February 29th off from school as we plan to leave the church parking lot at 12 noon and will return on Sunday at 5 p.m.

March – Hmmm…Mary’s Birthday is the 8th!

April – Planet Wisdom Student Conference “Become More…” April 18-19, 2007 Cost: $40/person
