September 26, 2007 – AWANA Opening Night – Ice Cream Social – come one, come all – we are serving ice cream to the AWANA folks! We will meet for a short P&W and Devotional time.
October 2007 – Dates in progress…
October 3, 2007 – Youth Group Bible Study “Experiencing the Heart of Jesus” by Max Lucado begins! Everyone gets their own study/workbook!
October 5, 2007 – Friday Night Flicks (at the church OR at Hickcox house! Stay tuned…)
October 18-22 – Frank and Mary gone to Youth Workers’ Convention!
October 27, 2007 - PreSchool Harvest Festival! Time of festival – 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. We are slotted to help set up, make posters & run some of the booths! PLAN TO ARRIVE AT 2:00 P.M. TO HELP OUT AND DON’T PLAN ON LEAVING UNTIL 9:00 P.M. SO WE CAN HELP CLEAN UP!!
November 2007 - (Sneaky Dates to fill up your calendar)
November 4 – Friend Day at church! Invite a Friend! Special church service. Yeah!!!
November 9-11 - Run to the Hills Retreat (dates tentative)
November 21, 2007 - Mary's Favorite Day (just an FYI) (No Youth Group Meeting)
November 23, 2007 - Day after Thanksgiving Annual Clam Chowder 'Fest & Movie Night @ Frank & Mary's House!
December 2007 - Dates to pencil in your calendar...
December 5, 2007 – Youth Group/Parent Vote for Summer Camp – Will it be Pismo, Ponderosa or Hume Lake this year???
December 7, 2007 – Operation Christmas Child. Meet at church at 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
December 12, 2007 – Awana Store – come and work the Awana Store!
December 16, 2007 - Youth Group Christmas Party - 4 p.m. to ? Location to be determined!
December 21, 2007 – Jenna RETURNS! Let’s all go meet her at the airport!!!!
December 26, 2007 - No Youth Group Meeting (Happy Christmas)
December 31, 2007 - Youth New Year's Eve Party at Knott's Berry Farm!!! Yes! Something Different! WooHoo! Cost: $40/person.
2008 Dates to Plan For…
January/February – Winter Camp January 11-13 (tentative) OR February 15-17 (tentative). Oh yeah, Frank’s Birthday is January 27th!
February 8-10, 2008 – Short Term Mission Trip to Tracy, California. Details forthcoming.
March – Hmmm…Mary’s Birthday is the 8th! (Awana Store – 3/5)
April – Planet Wisdom Student Conference “Become More…” April 18-19, 2007 Cost: $40/person
May – Memorial Day Camping Trip (OR All-Nighter) May 24-26, 2008 (tentative) Cost: $75/person
June – Graduations Galore – Jameson, Justin, Sarah, Taylor and others!!!
July/August – Summer Camp at Pismo? Or, will the group vote to go to Ponderosa Pines or Hume Lake? Cost: $450/person
